Kulla e Ramë Bllacës
About this place
Thick stone walls, small narrow windows and a stone-slab roof — the classic kulla of this region, built for protection as much as for living.
History & background
Built in 1936 by Ramë Bllaca, then a member of parliament, as a symbol of opposition to the plans for the mass expulsion of Albanians to Turkey.
